Understanding Control Flow

This module will introduce you to the concept of Control Flow. Put simply, this describes when statements within your Expressions will be executed, and in which order.

Ordinarily, the statements in an expression are executed from top to bottom, as they appear in the expression editor. During this module you'll be using special syntax to create statements that dynamically alter an expression's control flow. You'll use these Control Flow Statements to implement decision-making and looping, enabling your application to conditionally run particular blocks of code, often several times in a row.

We are also going to implement Error Handling statements to help minimise the impact of unexpected errors, and to assist in the development and maintenance of the application. One of the benefits of error handling is that it allows you to identify the cause of errors, and obtain the information you need to fix them.
